A similar sizing-up of Obama's experience, religious beliefs, and messianic
self-image would reveal an even more unjustifiable -- one might even say
"audacious" -- combination of ignorance and self-confidence. At least Sarah
Palin has accomplished something in her years in actual executive office.

Also his line, "You can learn something about a person by the company she
keeps," is a dangerous slope to slide down; I'm rather surprised such a
self-styled smarty-pants would go there in this case. I'll take any of
Palin's fellow Pentecostal pew-warmers over certifiable lunatics like
Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn, and Frank Marshall Davis any
day.
