The Bush Administration's panties are in a bunch over the crashing economy. The economic woes have put Senator McCain's poll ratings in a tail spin; thus, the rush to get the 700 billion bailout pushed through congress before the end of the week to help Senator McCain in the debates and the coming election. However, congress sees through the rush to bailout the economy for what it is; a ploy to prop up wall street and main street, at least, until after the elections. LOL Since congress isn't cooperating, Senator McCain wants to postpone the debates until the bailout become more certain to pass congress. I say let the free enterprise system work things out over time. That's the American way.
