Should I make some political comment? Naaahhh! Bored sick of them! This is to tell you my Ness Yawl plans have arrived at last. Designed by Iain Oughtred, she's a beautiful boat. Now the missus wants me to build her on the roof, says she won't suffer a building jig 19ft long for a year in the yard. So compromise time. Told her I'd do everything I could (Stem, stern, tiller, mast, rudder, dagger board case, station moulds, etc) before making the building jig, that means things keep circumscribed to my workshop for at least six months. Approximately by autumn (south hemisphere) I'll raise the building jig, fix the station moulds, plank the boat and get rid of the jig. So I will use the yard for just a couple of months. At last! I'm really happy!!!
