The story line that Republicans were opposed to regulation is in this case so demonstrably false my head nearly explodes every time Obama prances out there blaming McCain's "deregulation" for this crisis. The exact opposite is true--and the quotes in this video are priceless toward demonstrating this fact. Obama's accusation in fact could not be less true. Why McCain hasn't yet gone after Raines yet I can only speculate. But it is true that if Obama wins, all the people who really created this mess will skate, because most of them are in Congress and the rest are advisors to Obama. It's a shame and a sham, this whole election process. The co-conspiracy of the media in this sad state of affairs is also maddening. I'm very distressed about what's happening to our country right now, and my spirit is full of sorrow.
