Which is why what he says on the campaign trail matters not a whit: What
matters is what he's done, and with whom he's done it, and insofar as it's
possible to ascertain it, why he did it.

Looking into his scant few presidential resume bullet points for five
minutes yields lots of clear, consistent and (if you love liberty, free
markets and freedom of religion) unsettling information.

Looking at McCain in the same manner reveals different, in my view less
terrifying, problems, but it also emphatically refutes the Obama campaigns
childish insistence that he's some kind of Bush clone or free market
ideologue.

If he believes that redistribution of wealth makes nations prosperous, and
that government bureaucrats and legislators are inherently more honest and
competent than business people, then he's definitely stupid.

There, we agree on something, he's stupid.
