You may wish to save yourself some future embarrassment here by actually
studying a little bit of American history. Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley were
all Republicans; and an assassination attempt on Reagan's life nearly
succeeded. Kennedy actually stands out as the only Democrat, and by today's
standards his policies would have classified him as a Republican--cut taxes,
opposed Cuba's Castro and the Soviet Union, focus on individual
responsibility ("ask not what your country can do for you..", etc..
