I also found it interesting the writer didn't care for Wallace picking on the 
press.  When Ollie North was running for Senate here in VA, I saw him several 
times... got to talk with him twice... and he always picked on the press at his 
meetings.  He would joke about them to the audience... he would tell us that 
every morning he read the Washington Post and his Bible...that way he could see 
what both sides were up to.  

If one is going to elevate the drive by media to a position of infalable, 
unquestioning allegiance, they have a problem.  I never was a Wallace 
supporter, 
but I did appreciate the unapologetic way got in the face of political 
correctness.
