People don't get it. The threat to our republic really is existential in this
election.

People have been brainwashed into hating George Bush and loving Obama. The
caricature of Gov. Palin, like that of Bush, has been so successful because the
full might of the media has been unleashed on her. Consider the CNN interview
the other day, when Griffin cornered her with what was supposedly a National
Review quote characterizing her as incompetent, stupid, etc. In point of fact
the author of the article was commenting at how awfully the media portray her,
but she was ambushed into a position where she was told this is what even
conservatives think of her. They have neither apologized nor so much as
commented, when confronted with the plainly incorrect quote taken out of
context that was made to "make her sweat" in the middle of that interview.
Shameless.

The people have been led by a powerful, totally biased media, like sheep to the
slaughter, to a conclusion that electing Obama is a kind of vengeance on the
Republicans for the current economic crisis, when precisely the opposite is
true: They will be rewarding the very people who caused it, and condemning all
of us to a long, protracted period of economic strife and social upheaval.

The president's oath is to protect the Constitution against "all foes, foreign
and domestic." President Bush has been good against the foreign foes (actually
too good for his own good), but totally incompetent/negligent of his duty with
respect to domestic foes. Since 2003 they have run rampant and organized for
the moment they covet on November 4, with the $$ of George Soros and several
foreign powers behind them. I think many are working in our State Dept and CIA
to make this happen--look at the totally bogus Fitzgerald investigation, for
example. That was such a ridiculous "scandal" yet most people think it proved
that the White House leaked a covered agent's identity to get back at a private
citizen.

In point of fact, neither point is true. It wasn't the White House, but the
State Dept. (Richard Armitage), and she wasn't a covered agent. And the
prosecutor knew this from day one of his "investigation". And then there's
Powell, who advised Bush so badly on Iraq (we had inadequate troops on the
ground at the beginning of the liberation in part because of advice he got from
Powell), supporting Obama.

What they're doing to Palin, and what they did to Joe the Plumber, is a taste
of things to come.

If they don't win, they are organized to riot and create civil unrest. This is
something of a specialty for Obama's friend Bill Ayers, our next closet
secretary of re-education.

With respect to biased media, I hear O'Reilly is going to have an expose on the
Neilson Ratings Corp tonight. Apparently, 100% of its employees and/or
management donated to the Obama campaign this year.

The fix is in, and the people have been conditioned for a kind of change, the
consequences of which they don't even begin to grasp.

My wife grew up in Soviet Russia and is totally convinced that the forces
behind Obama are Stalinist--that creepy video with the kids "singing for
change" reminded her of young Pioneers, indoctrinated into a cult-like love for
Lenin et al. The Obama "Youth Brigade" also. The video "American Prayer" is
right out of Black Liberation Theology, which is Marxist. But people think
they're going to get middle class tax cuts! They should read what Saul Alinsky
wanted to do with the middle class. Hell, they should read Obama's books about
what attracted him to Trinity United--namely it's publicly stated disdain for
"middle-classed-ness".

I think more people are awakening to this reality. A friend of mine from Cuba,
a successful businessman who in the last election supported the Democrats,
surprised me yesterday when he sent me an email expressing his support for John
McCain and concerns about Obama (I expected him, like most of my friends, to be
pro-Obama). Needless to say I spammed him with my research, and he's passing it
on. :)

I hope, I pray it's not too late.

- Bob
