Leland: I don't know what to make of you sometimes. Surely, you're not so shallow.
Forget the organization's endorsement of Obama, or his promise to have them set the agenda for his presidency, the FBI raids and investigations, the links to the housing scandal, the proof of voter registration fraud in 15 states, the actual voter fraud in Ohio--just cling to your little Pravda editorial, which merely blurbs a couple lines from ACORN's website about its mission and flatly asserts that McCain is exaggerating what's going on. Actually, if you know anything about their history, their origin, the people behind them financially (including, by the way, George Soros), and Obama's relationship to and roles within it, you'd realize that they are a much more complex undertaking than their modest mission would let on, and Obama's glorious ascendency is inextricably intertwined with their current hyper-activism. http://www.npr.org/blogs/secretmoney/2008/10/acorns_money_tree_has_many_bra. html - - - The foundations that give to ACORN & Co. vary widely. There are some classically liberal ones: The Bauman Family Foundation gave $350,000 to ACORN's American Institute for Social Justice. George Soros' Open Society Institute gave $300,000 to that institute and $250,000 to ACORN proper. The Charles Stewart Mott Foundation gave the institute $1.8 million. ... The 527 organization Fund for America was set up last year by top liberal donors and operatives to help fund pro-Democratic organizations this election season, but it ended up folding. The Fund, itself bankrolled by George Soros and others, gave $200,000 to ACORN. ... There's a lot more to ACORN's financial picture that we can't complete here. ACORN's network is complex, and money often transfers from one affiliate to another, making it hard for outsiders to keep track of it all. But one thing is for sure: ACORN is busy. - - - And that, from National Proletariat Radio... Non partisan my ass! Don't be too surprised when they are indicted undo RICO. - Bob > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On > Behalf Of Leland F.
