I hesitate to attribute Biblical significance to things vis a vis prophecy. Prophecy is rather hard to interpret and apply, and I am convinced that God made it this way so that we might be "on the lookout" for evil, but not too confident with respect to divining his precise plan. It's ultimate victory in which we are to have faith. In the spirit of the 1 Isaiah exhortation to "Come, let us reason together" I would be happy with mere spiritual discernment. My spiritual eyes are all-too-attune to what's happening, and my overwhelming feeling is not even fear but sadness. In that sense only I feel prophetically burdened. And I look at the facts see no refutation of what I'm seeing spiritually; to the contrary, I see all the signs of what is to come. Whether or not it's the end-times I profess no directly knowledge.
