Sen. Barack Obama's presidential campaign is allowing donors to use largely
untraceable prepaid credit cards that could potentially be used to evade
limits on how much an individual is legally allowed to give or to mask a
contributor's identity, campaign officials confirmed.

Faced with a huge influx of donations over the Internet, the campaign has
also chosen not to use basic security measures to prevent potentially
illegal or anonymous contributions from flowing into its accounts, aides
acknowledged. Instead, the campaign is scrutinizing its books for improper
donations after the money has been deposited.

The Obama organization said its extensive review has ensured that the
campaign has refunded any improper contributions, and noted that Federal
Election Commission rules do not require front-end screening of donations.

The man promised to accept public financing if McCain did. McCain is living
within in the comparatively draconian limits on spending that they require.
But the Messiah broke that promise with impunity, is using his war machine's
campaign chest to buy a half hour infomercial, and on top of that is using
whatever cracks are in the campaign law to keep that war chest flush with
cash, at least until the election, after which, no doubt, he'll find all the
culprits and send them back their cash--with a thank you note.

This is disgusting, and is Exhibit A of what will be a long string of broken
promises and deliberate subterfuges of all ethics and morals of his "new
politics". Exhibit B was his promise to vote against FISA. Exhibit C his
shifting description of his position on war from unrepentant dove to clever
hawk. I could easily run out of letters in the English alphabet recounting
more examples.

>From Federalist Papers #59:

"It ought never to be forgotten that a firm union of this country, under an
efficient government, will probably be an increasing object of jealousy to
more than one nation in Europe; and that enterprises to subvert it will
seldom fail to be patronized and abetted by some of them. Its preservation,
therefore, ought in no case that can be avoided to be committed to the
guardianship of any but those whose situation will uniformly beget an
immediate interest in the faithful and vigilant performance of the trust."

How anyone can argue based on *facts* that Obama displays this faithfulness
and vigilance I cannot begin to understand.
