I understand how you feel. What is there about a webapp that you cant do better faster and easier in a desktop custom app? As a database developer where forms are pre-designed and we know what to expect in advance I see a webapp as utterly pointless. Browsers are incredibly flexible - so use them for flexible applications. Databases are definately NOT flexible apps so don t use them in browsers.
