When I click on D&S, I get four tabs: General, Sharing, Web Sharing and
Customize.

However, what I've found is if I go to the abc folder, right click on
it, and go tot he Sharing tab, and select "Make this folder private",
then I get rights to it.

I have no idea why my interface is different.

Oh well.

Second issue - why r/o? I think it's inheriting from the "whil" folder
properties, although when I hard-code the folder name:

   mkdir xxx

I do not get the r/o issue.

What I've chosen to do is put this folder under "My Documents". That
retains writable rights from within the app, so I think I'll be ok.

Now I just have to figure out.... oh, never mind.

Whil
