I haven't seen that much. Do try to pick a system and stay with it: it
reduces confusion down the road.

Apple has some suggestions for method naming at
http://tinyurl.com/CocoaNamingConventions -- some of them are general
enough to apply here. Google brings up a few other suggestions, as
well.
