Hi Geoff! The point of the post was that tyranny, not crime, is our main enemy. We have a lot of tyranny and a lot of crime but there would be so much more if we ever let ourselves be disarmed. In Florida the crime rate plummeted when concealed carry became law, and took another smaller dip with the stand your ground law. John Lott is the authority on this topic.
