There is no way the court's going to hear these cases out.

Not because they are without merit, but because of the upheaval adherence to
the letter of the law will create. We've long ago given up any pretence of
caring about the Constitution's safeguards against tyranny.

If they do real fact discovery and it is learned that his birthplace,
allegiance and even citizenship at this point really are questionable -- and
I think at this point they are, it *must* be given his behavior, no matter
what that lame Snopes "refutation" said (which was really just a contrary
assertion with no actual facts, which is unusual for them) -- then the howls
and screams of the left will incite riots even worse than those incited by
Raila Odinga in Kenya after he lost the election fair and square according
to the law. Guess what, he's now PM because of those riots, murder and
mayhem.

They took a lot of flak for ruling in the negative in 2000 on the
"recount-till-we-find-the-votes" effort Gore engineered (and which Franken
in Minnesota is trying, quite impressively, to perfect). To reverse the
victory of a candidate because of this minor little detail about his being
born in Kenya would set off you-have-no-idea-what, and severely destabilize
our government.

Either way, Obama's agenda is moved forward. They will give it to him via
the path of least resistance.

And if you think it's normal that he'd go see his dying gramma without
taking his wife and kids, and that Hawaiian officials just happened to seal
his birth certificate during his "mercy" trip, and she just coincidentally
died the night before his election, well, you deserve the next several years
of pain we've got coming.
