I have been using Bit Defender for a year. The initial run found a bunch of
false positives but also found a lot of files that were not found by Trend
Micro.

I use Software Passport to encrypt my distributable files and have to turn
Bit Defender off when converting the VFP exe. Bit defender thinks they
contain a Trojan and deletes the files almost as soon as I create them.
Later, I place the exe in a protected area and restart Bit Defender.

Last year I bought a 5 user annual license from Herman Street for under
$40.00. I renewed this year for the same terms: 1 year, 5, machines, 38 or
so dollars.

Subject: [NF] Bitdefender

Our ZoneAlarm Security Suite licenses have expired and because the software
is so slow I'm thinking getting another product. How about Bitdefender? I've
read good reviews on the internet. Has anyone have any good or bad
experience with it?

TIA
