I don't think you can interface VFP with Outlook Express. I think you need Outlook to use the automation.
If you don't need copies of the email in your sent box then use Blat. You can still CC yourself with BLAT to keep a record of what you sent. I just got Blat to work with ssl authentication. That requires an additional program called stunnel.
