Another stupid one I heard was the music critic (!) on CBS Sunday Morning who was given an on-air editorial last Sunday. He said: (recalling the assassinations of MLK and RFK in 1968) the country took a wrong turn in 1968 and wandered off course for 40 years. Now it is finally on the right course again.
I'm sure you can get the exact quote from the Sunday Morning web site. No matter your political affiliations, you have to admit that the mainstream press has Zero objectivity and overwhelming bias. The Bernard Goldberg books put that idea to rest for me.
