Don't you think that's a little harsh? You are using a measuring stick you wouldn't even begin to apply to Bush. 'work with terrorists'? None of the rhetoric or actions have done anything of the kind. It feels very much like you define the Bush way (war, wiretapping, hating mUslims) to be only the very minimum position to take and anything even slightly less extreme to be traitorous. If working with your enemies to try and reduce the risk of war is treasonous to you then I suggest that you rethink your position very carefully. It is not only dumb but dangerous.
I don't mind debating politics and policy from opposing points of view but your views lack logic, reason, balance and sometimes even facts. Makes a meaningful debate a waste of time. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Bob Calco Sent: Wednesday, 28 January 2009 11:46 AM To: 'ProFox Email List' Subject: RE: [OT] Let the good times roll... > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On > Behalf Of Geoff Flight > Sent: Tuesday, January 27, 2009 4:59 PM > To: 'ProFox Email List' > Subject: RE: [OT] Let the good times roll... > > YOU SEEM TO HAVE A GREAT DEAL OF TROUBLE with Clintons charitable works > and > that money comes form overseas. Tell me, do you hate ALL non-americans > or > merely some nations while distrusting the rest? YOU SEEM TO HAVE A GREAT DEAL OF TROUBLE with the caps-lock button on your keyboard. ;) On a serious note I don't hate anybody. I do have a lot of trouble with people who preach ethics and competence on the one hand, but work with terrorists, religious charlatans, America-bashers and political fixers, on the other. They preach change, pontificate about the problem of musical chairs in Washington--and then proceed to build a team almost entirely consisting of ethically challenged retreads from the past. I have a problem with a guy who says he is Christian, but reaches out first to Muslims in a deeply personal way that misrepresents his own nation's actions and intentions, in order to placate the sentiment of her enemies that she's the real force for evil. I have a problem with a guy who has never worked in the private sector, except briefly as an attorney at a law firm-- an experience he described as making him feel "like a spy behind enemy lines" -- telling the rest of the American private sector how to spend their money. Obama's administration is already the most crooked, just by virtue of its composition. His actions are divisive, mean-spirited, and in many cases blatantly narcissistic. But he's hailed as the opposite of what he really is, some kind of resurrected Lincoln, and so I'm a bit on edge about what's coming our way. But I do not hate anybody, not even Obama, at least not personally. - Bob [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
