John 1:1-14 (especially 1 and 14)

Nice try though. :)

Key to understanding this application of the law of identity (two things
equal to a third thing are equal to each other) is to understand the model
of the divine being, after whose image we are made: Spirit, soul and body.
Think of them as concentric circles and the logic of it is clear.

"God is spirit, and seeks those who worship Him in spirit and in truth."
Jesus was God "in the flesh", i.e., God's fleshly body, which existed in
time and space, and had all three elements united as one. God is His spirit,
and the Holy Ghost, is His soul, the union of the two, just as our souls are
the union of our spirits and our flesh. Recall Genesis 2:7: "And the Lord
God formed man out of the dust of the earth, and breathed into his nostrils
the breath of life, and man became a living soul".

There is some confusion on this point because some brands of Christianity
don't fully appreciate the difference between spirit and soul, and they end
up with a doctrine of the trinity that is neither logically correct, nor
reconcilable with the truth of what it means for man to be made "in the
image of God" as a union of these three elements.

The "Father" and "Son" terminology has to do with the relational aspects
between these elements of the divine being, spirit and flesh,
anthropomorphized for our human comprehension convenience.
