I ended up creating a new table that I called REPORTDETAIL and added all the
fields necessary for the side-by-side reports:

R1field1
R1field2
R2field1
R2field2
R2field3

Etc.

I then filled that table with the data from each of the two reports, and
printed one report from that REPORTDETAIL table. It gave me what I needed.
