I read that, and what he described could be done by the Dabo
Application Wizard in less than 30 seconds without writing a single
line of code. Rather than use that to claim that Dabo is better, I
think it illustrates the silliness of the original proposal. Apps like
that have nothing to do with real-world development; all that
demonstrated is how good VFP is at developing trivial apps. Any app
that you can create in less than an hour is meaningless as a
demonstration of what the tool/environment can do; the true test of a
tool is how it handles projects involving many months of development,
with many developers and revisions; how it enhances your productivity
and helps you translate your designs into a working app.
