We all will miss Kristyne, her posts and her stories. As a recently diagnosed diabetes patient, sometimes you don't find the will to take the medications, some make you feel sick, have some secondary effects or make you gain weight. In my case is all the contrary have lost more than 30 pounds from this condition in 4 months. Yes Ed, I cannot fit in that green dress anymore.
When I was diagnosed last November the doctor prescribed a lot of tests and pills and was so scared that started to do everything he said and 1 month later the latest tests showed I was in control. After that went on vacation and stopped all medications and ate everything I could find... you guess, everything was uncontrolled again but this time started to take the medications again and test twice a day but have not regain control and have some side effects from the medications and stopped taking them again. This disease is expensive, depressive and silent. Maybe the cost is an excuse, you go into a denial stage, think I understand her, I'm there.. you feel fine and have a lot of work, few bucks to buy the medications or make an appointment with a doctor, you feel like if you don't think about it, it will go away...but it doesn't... its running on your blood and affecting everything on its path. I find it somewhat difficult that >she couldn't afford the cost of medication to control her diabetes. There must be a local (to California) organization that >could have provided the necessary medication. _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/9ebf03e9e09541b99fc4fe2471420...@billingserver ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
