i had a failed laptop drive that had a lot of stuff on. One item was
VFP. I needed it for a client this past week. So I copied the folder
from the drive image I had to my new laptop. Added the folder for
Microsoft Common for VFP as well.

I found that a C++ dll was needed from System or system32??? Once
found on the old image everything worked.

I got my clients app to do an FTP of zipped dbf tables to his printer
working again. Delivered the fix and found that I had the wrong
version of VFP. :) His forst run was in VFP7 and I used 8. I found
an installer for 8 version runtimes and everything was cool.
