I've had some forms in the past where certain attributes of the 
object would just not stick either, similar to what you are seeing. I 
tried many things to resolve it, but in the end, I had to delete the 
objects from the form, and re-insert them and make the changes I 
wanted accordingly. This solved the problems for me in those cases, 
so hopefully it will help you as well.
