Judging by the recent facebook episode I think its madness to leave data
anywhere than your own machines. That includes personal data and company
data for me. I have joined linkedin but that's the lot.

willingly save on other companies' servers. It's like everyone trusts not
only that 
people aren't going to willing sell their demographic information, but also

nobody is going to successfully hack into those systems.

I see gmail as a big ticking time-bomb.
