If you take advantage of the church as more then the Sunday morning Fashion show you will experience many personal benefits. Last week I went to an interfaith Pay for World Peace service. Not a mass in my catholic church but a prayer service with Catholic, Protestant, Muslim, and Jewish members. When the service was over we adjourned to another room for discussion and refreshments. This is where it got interesting. Or you could help out at a soup kitchen where you are taken from your space to assist in an area of town that you would not consider going to. Hey why not have a Trivia Contest where proceeds are raised for a Parish school in a poor section of town. Maybe you want to help others in your faith through bible study learn more about what is written and how we interpret those words today. You could also just go to a Cursillo Weekend. You could go to confession. It is a personal growth step where you admit your own faults to someone else. >> ; whereas, if God does exist, the unbeliever loses infinite life. >> > If you compute all religions you get that the believer's chance to have > hit on the "right" religion is small. If you are for democracy and think > religious rule should be for the majority, then christians loose for > sure.
