I have found FF slow to load. I have taken off auto updates but still slow.
I still prefer it to ie7 which went through a bad phase not that long ago
after an update of not working. Not tried ie8 since a bad beta that woreked
with very little. All in all ie7 and FF seem to me to be both good and bad
and there is no reason not to use the one you prefer.

I usually use FireFox 3x.

But, there are certain sites that work only with IE.

My hospital requires I only use IE for lab data and patient records.
