No, they are not committed to correcting the bugs for free, they effectively
won't charge you for the technical support call if the situation you report
is a bug in Visual FoxPro.

What Milind said is that reporting bugs through tech support is the fastest
way of getting the bug recognized and possibly considered for future
hotfixes. 

The Fox Community has been told that bugs that have a reasonable workaround
are not likely to be considered for a future hotfix. Think along the lines
of seriousness like security and data destroying type bugs.
