Hi Geoff!

Funny this should come up on [OT] just now. We are having local 
discussions on this topic right now.

Seems that we have all kinds of zero tolerance and minimum sentences 
since that Jessica Lunsford law was passed. Guy who buried her alive had 
priors but had gotten out after just a few years, only to target little 
Jessica.

There were other sensational cases right about the same time. Little 
girls dying horrendous deaths at the hands of guys with records.
