I didn't follow the other thread, so maybe I'm missing something here... You want to display numeric data on a big screen, yes? You *could* do a graphic for each digit 1 thru 10, then when it comes time to display it just convert to a string and parse it to decide which graphic (i.e. number) to display. I'm not saying doing the graphics would be easy, but at least you'd only have to do 10 of them (assuming you don't decide later to resize).
