It is a good point, but not always that simple.

My long-term customers have taken it that way just fine. In this  
case, this is a small customer for which this was a first little  
project. They have one or two other software vendors with which they  
have much more long-term relationships. These folks are pushing M$  
(hard) on them at every turn.

If you are a naive, scared-of-computers user, who are you going to  
believe?
