Hi Paul!

Don't ever try FF with KDE and Mepis 7 then, you will be disappointed. I 
understand from another Linux group that the combination does *not* 
reclaim memory when things close and after a few days runs out of 
memory. The hard drive runs out of swap space as well and it all just 
cranks and cranks without getting whatever it is trying to do (like 
close a process) done. Keyboard, mouse - nothing works.

Work around is to hardware shutdown, wait a while (at least 10 seconds) 
and restart.
