Test drove both, in the end I decided on the 2.0 TFSI which isn't available stateside yet. 211 BHP, 350 NM standard 155mph and 0-60 of 6.9 seconds. Enough space to get two child seats in the back if necessary but no enough room to replace the wifes MPV.
