Norton Internet Security 2009 picked it up as soon as I tried to save it as a
text document.

If I go to eicars site and download the file as .com or .txt Norton picked up
on it before I try and save it. But it doesn't detect it in zip files until I
try and open the zip to view contents. Same results if downloading from secure
portion of eicars site.

Sounds interesting - has anyone tried this?
