Hi Leland! Their, there and they're are homonyms. You're and your are homonyms. When they are spoken they sound the same. If they are written they are spelled differently. They always have different meanings, spoken or written. The bald guy couldn't spell them properly, the glasses guy knew he couldn't spell them properly because he was reading the written words in the panel above him (notice that he is looking up). Of course, in real life this can't happen. Ed said Stephen Russell wouldn't get it, but everyone else would. I know from years of experience that you also would be scratching your head. Now we all know that Ed is never wrong, it's just in this case he was a little weak on being right. If you are still scratching your head, you're going to have to hold your grade school teacher responsible. They're almost always Democrats, you know. When they aren't Democrats, their politics is at least liberal, 9 times out of ten. But, perhaps I shouldn't go there. -- Regards, Pete http://pete-theisen.com/ http://elect-pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
