Let's work this in reverse. How about you provide a specific list of indicators that would clearly point to the Anti-Christ, and we'll explore why Obama doesn't fit the bill.
Personally I'm just holding out for the "survives mortal wound" checklist item from Revelation, but I could be missing other important indicators that would give me peace he could not possibly be the Anti-Christ. But to be honest, if I believed he was really the Anti-Christ, I'd be relieved. This means all the pain and suffering he's about to cause will go to a good purpose. As it is I'm afraid he's just "yet another" petty despot with the ability to pound the nail in the coffin of the greatest republic in history and wreck the lives of several generations of people. The irrational, almost mystical popularity he enjoys, unconnected with actual results, which already are quite bad, certainly is a point in Michael's favor. Just consider the cases of GM and Chrysler compared to Ford. GM & Chrysler took bail out money and the government's offer to "help" and they are going bankrupt after the Community Organizer in Chief decided what was best for them. (Recall, the whole purpose was to save them from bankruptcy because they were "too big to fail." But it turns out the real reason was to use bankruptcy to benefit certain stakeholders -- the unions -- unfairly over others, the rule of law be damned, and to push an agenda, namely forcing Americans to accept crappy little cars they don't really want at prices they'd never otherwise agree to pay for them.) Ford, by contrast, posted a strong quarter and will likely benefit from the government effectively killing their domestic competitors. That Obama, he sure knows how to run companies. Into the ground. (If he's the Anti-Christ I'm disappointed because I expected him to be more competent---then again the Anti-Christ will create such suffering as has never before been experienced and Obama's off to a good start on that score.) And then there's the economy. Things are getting worse, not better, even after the Porkulus (clearly designed to maximize the "trickle down" effect of Fantastic Timmy's monopoly money next year, an election year). His fiscal discipline makes Bush look like a parsimonious skinflint, and his deficit spending eclipses anything the mind can grasp (after eight or nine digits it's hard to tell the difference between "a lot of money" and "a mind boggling amount of money"). But he's still popular and able to say with a straight face that he's not doing the very things he's clearly and openly doing. His "I don't want to run GM, have no intention of running GM, but here's how I'll run GM" speech the other day being a case in point. I guess for the average American as long as we FINALLY have a president who won't harm terrorists we happen to capture on the battlefield and who supports gay marriage, the right of women to murder their babies in the womb, and using the cells of dead aborted babies to create new drugs, why, everything must be OK no matter how many people lose their jobs, their bank accounts---or even ultimately their lives. Now he's going to the middle east to offer something that is not his -- namely half of Jerusalem -- to people he was not elected to benefit, namely the radical Muslims who run Hammas and the PLA. In the name of peace, ironically. So Mike has a case, I'm just waiting for some other shoe to drop to make it iron-clad. - Bob > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On > Behalf Of Geoff > Sent: Wednesday, June 03, 2009 12:47 AM > To: 'ProFox Email List' > Subject: RE: [OT] The Emergence of Obama's Muslim Roots > > You are a moron which has been amply shown in the past.
