Wow in dbase III we used dates because they did a much better job then parcing out YYYYMMDD. I am guessing that this was first cut in VB3 but not sure what it's first data container was. Yesterday I was informed that tech terms used by one of our interface gurus were incorrect. Tables that end in "_" are not METADATA that is used to generate the gui presented to the user. No it contains the raw data that the form collects. So the concept of NORMAL data in this app? hahahahahahaha! I am sure there is another good and long story as to why, but I do not want to hear it. Later tody I'll get the TSQL to pull it out. -- Stephen Russell Sr. Production Systems Programmer Web and Windows Development Independent Contractor Memphis TN 901.246-0159 _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
