Hi Everybody, Well, I did *not* get the Hope and Change job. I was the only applicant for one particular position. I was highly qualified for it *except* I am *not* an affirmative action type. Not that that makes any difference, of course, but the man wanted to interview a few other people.
Well, no one else applied for weeks and weeks. Today was the deadline. Rather than hire me, while acknowledging my qualifications and admitting he needed the work I would do done, the head of the agency left the position unfilled. Never mind that the federal government would have paid every penny I would have cost (wasn't much), he already has his token whitey, a data entry clerk. A white doctor who knows his way around a computer? Can't have that.
