"118".
"British Columbia joined Canada".
Just a bit of fuss over the moonwalk, eh? Here in British
Columbia, I do not recall hearing any mention of the anniversary of
British Columbia joining Canada.
It probably does not help that B.C. Day is the first Monday in
August. Those long weekends have to be evenly spaced. It is far
more important than getting the anniversary right. Bah! Reality
adjustment for Usonians: It is like celebrating the Fourth of July on
or about July 18.
set soapbox off
There are a number of anniversaries shown in Wikipedia for July
22. The one I like best is Pi Day.

ProFox is a good group. Much too U.S. political for my taste,
but otherwise very very good. USENET is in slow decline, and I have
noted that the FoxPro groups are rather quiet lately. I do not think
that it is all due to summer.
