I work for a Swedish company (I'm UK based). The Swedes love an annual company get together (or 'kick offs' as they bizarrely call them, not sure where they get this from - is this an American term?). A bit of team building and all that. So every year I get to meet my colleagues from Scandinavia & Russia. Always fun. The Norwegians in particular *like* a drink. This year we went to Barcelona (all ~200 of us!). It was part of a 2 year plan. Make the sales targets, go to Barcelona. We just made it (pretty good given the current climate..). Normally the 'kick offs' are in Stockholm. Had a great time. The only downside was Tai 'bloody' Chi on the hotel lawn every morning. Imagine 100s of hung-over (that 3am session was a bad idea) people trying to prance around to a Spanish Tai Chi instructor, badly translated to English by the only Spanish speaker amongst us (a Swede). "Insparato, exparato!" ( Our teams got extra points for Tai Chi turnouts they said! -- Paul _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
