Iames,

That link even shows the ACTIVATE WINDOW that I have in my base class.
Your BorderStyle in your base class isn't changing in the instantiation of
the form. If you are not using the _Screen to host your application, that
will need to be adjusted to correctly activate the form in the top level
form. I didn't find the message in my quick search, but I know I've found a
solution for that as well some time ago.

Well, you found a solution, so all is good.

Tracy

Subject: R: VFP9 SP2: Form caption strangeness

Tracy,

in the meanwhile I made some research. Besides your post in Ed's
archive I remembered I had seen this too, by Doug Hennig:

http://my.advisor.com/doc/18897?open&p=6&pid=ztdbms

Among all these solutions, however, I found that the only working
one was setting the form BorderStyle to 0 or 1, with Aero active. I found it
acceptable for now, so I can go on with this job.

Thanks to all who helped/participated in this thread.

Iames
