The basics of C# haven't changed too much. There are huge changes to the
.NET Framework between 1 and 3.5 of course.

Don't be overwhelmed and assume you have to know all the subject areas
in .NET, and don't get obsessed with the 'one true way' to solve
problems. The Framework is vast and most people will only ever need to
use parts of it. There are also many correct ways to solve most
problems.
