Does TEXT1 still exist in your grid? If not, you may need to add it back first.
Assuming you want to do this in the form/class designer, bring up the property sheet and find the control in the grid you want to delete. Click back on the frame of the form/class designer but don't click on the form container itself or any of its contained controls.
