Rafael,
In my haste to answer, I forgot to add that the VM environment needs to be
loaded up with M$ operating system software capable of supporting VFP.

Subject: vfp, windows server 2003 and linux

One of my clients has the following LAN configuration in his company:

1 Windows 2003 Server, housing my VFP9 application
X number of Windows XP machines, which access the above application from an
icon on their desktops
1 new Linux machine

Question:

is it possible to access the application on the WK2003 server from the Linux
machine, as an icon, similar to what today is happening with the XP
machines?

Please reply taking the following into consideration:

technical feasibility, pros and cons
licensing issues

TIA

Rafael Copquin
