For some reason, it doesn't like my pageframe subclass with subclassed 
pages.  So to fix this for now, I'm using the base pageframe and its 
native pages.  Works then.  Stupid.  I might come back and visit this 
when I get it all working, but I'm not really losing anything by using 
the native pgf and pages.
