Hey folks,

I have this strange problem. I have a report form (being used as a
Label) - which I snagged on the server here from another project - and
trying to use it on this new project I am working on. It seems that the
label was previously hard coded to use a certain DBF. Upon initially
trying to open up the Form - I got this error of it trying to use the
DBF - and it couldn't find it. So, I attempted to disassociate that DBF
from the Label, and I also went thru the whole form and took out the old
DBF Alias from in front of each field on the Form. Also, there was a
setting in the InitialSelectedAlias of the DataEnvironment - which had
that old DBF name - and I had already reset that to "None".

However, now - when I try to Preview or Print the report form - it now
brings up the "Open" dialog box asking me to go pick a DBF - even though
a DBF is already open in the current Work Area. If, while I still have
the report form open in Modify mode - and I attempt a 2nd time to
Preview the report - it WILL actually work!

I tried looking at what few options are available in the DataEnvironment
- and I don't see anything that I could change that would fix the
problem.

I am working on this particular project within VFP 7.0 SP1.

TIA,
Kurt
