Subject: [NF] JavaScript Woes
Hey - - - - -------
I don't know if this is a question or a rant. If it is a question, it
is probably too vague. What the heck, here it is:
Have you ever had a line of JS that just stops working?
This line of code, with or without the quotes, has always returned
the number of the control:
var elenum = document.getElementById
("document.form_general.first_name_htmid")
Suddenly, after a year or so, it returns NULL.
tracking with FireBug shows:
-- the code line does run
-- the form name is right
-- the control name is right
To try to address it, I have changed the ID of the control, just
trial-and-error, but that didn't help.
Any idea what could do this??????
