Ive had a couple of similar issues where some 'smart' programmer tried to
make their driver install OS version specific (Vista was 6.0 and win7 is
6.1) and they now say they wont install to win7 because you need to UPgrade
your OS. must have been ok but there will doubtless be a flurry of new
drivers when sin7 is finally released. why these driver manufacturers dont
test them NOW is beyond me.

Into only 2 weeeks straight of Win7 and find only earlier installers
that will not function because of the "new" version. It was written
with XP & Vista and not aware of Win7, so installing it the OS says
you cannot use this at this time.

My video drivers are fine and that was the problem with Vista. The
install also finds all of the other stuff like audio, web cams,
wireless and all of that came in no problem.

I do have an issue with my DVD burner in that the SW that came with my
Vista box will not burn a BOOTABLE iso image. It use to no problem.
